Pre-Action Alarm Valve Device

In China,Fuxeon® Pre-Action Alarm Valve Device is an automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing device that combines automatic fire detection and alarm technology with an automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing system. It provides dual protection for the protected object and is particularly suitable for critical locations that are exposed to freezing temperatures and are protected from water damage, where accidental spraying is unacceptable. These locations include computer rooms, generator rooms, data rooms, historical archives, and high-bay warehouses.

Both new and existing users can obtain free samples through Fuxeon®.The Pre-Action Alarm Valve Device is a device used in pre-action systems to control water flow and provide an alarm. This means that, in the event of a fire, the control system opens the diaphragm, allowing water to flow into the system piping network, transitioning from dry-type to wet-type sprinkler fire extinguishing and alarming. The water pressure within the diaphragm chamber (control cavity) of the diaphragm valve controls the opening and closing of the diaphragm. When the water pressure within the control cavity equals the supply pressure, the diaphragm closes, preventing water from entering the system. When the water pressure within the control cavity is lower than the supply pressure, the diaphragm is pushed open by the supply pressure, allowing water to flow into the system, extinguishing the fire. The pressure within the diaphragm chamber (control cavity) is controlled by a detection system installed within the protected area. This detection system also serves as the diaphragm deluge valve's actuation system. This system can be controlled electrically, manually, or hydraulically.

Product Maintenance:

The Fire Alarm Pre-Action System should be inspected and activated monthly, with filters checked once a month. Annually, the system should be dismantled for inspection and maintenance. Pipelines should be flushed to remove scale and impurities, and the performance of rotating parts and seals should be checked. Check the shafts for scratches, burrs, and deformation; check the orifices for blockage; and check the valve seats for scale, rust, and other impurities.

The normal service life of each rubber part in the pre action alarm check valve is 1 year. If there is creep, indentation deformation, aging and hardening, sticking, wear and tear, it should be replaced immediately. The pipeline accessories, control valve and throttle orifice plate should be cleaned and unblocked.

FAQ

Q1: What are the main application scenarios of pre-action alarm valve device?

Pre-action alarm valve devices are core components of pre-action fire sprinkler systems. They are widely used in high-value and water-sensitive areas, such as data centers, archives, museums, electrical equipment rooms, server rooms, and instrument workshops. It avoids accidental water leakage damage caused by sprinkler damage or pipeline failure.

Q2: What materials are used for pre-action alarm valve device?

The main valve body is made of high-strength ductile iron or forged brass with anti-corrosion coating. Internal diaphragm, sealing parts and control components adopt wear-resistant, aging-resistant rubber and stainless steel materials. Auxiliary fittings and thread connectors use anti-rust alloy to ensure stable pressure resistance and long service life.

Q3: What is the working feature of pre-action valve compared with ordinary alarm valve?

It adopts dual interlock protection design. The valve only opens and fills the pipeline with water after both fire detector signal and sprinkler temperature sensing action are triggered. Under normal conditions, the pipeline remains dry, which effectively prevents accidental water spray and protects precision equipment and valuables.
