JIS Machino Coupling

The FUXEON® JIS Machino Coupling is a quick-connect component designed for connecting fire hoses, fire trucks, landing valves, fire hydrants, and nozzles. It uses an internal slider and slot-locking structure to provide a fast connection without the multiple rotations required by conventional threaded interfaces.

The JIS Machino Coupling is commonly supplied in DN40, DN50, and DN65 sizes, with additional sizes available according to project requirements. Its push-type connection allows operators to connect and disconnect hoses quickly, which is particularly useful during firefighting operations where connection time is critical.

FUXEON® products are manufactured under certified management systems including GB/T 19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015, GB/T 24001-2016 / ISO 14001:2015, GB/T 45001-2020 / ISO 45001:2018, and GB/T 27922-2011.

Connection Structure

Locking Mechanism

The machino fire hose coupling uses an internal spring to push a slider into the mating slot after the male and female components are connected. This mechanical locking structure secures the joint during operation, while a rubber sealing ring provides sealing between the connected components.

To disconnect the coupling, the ring mechanism on the male side is pressed to retract the internal slider. The connection can then be separated without rotating a threaded interface.

Connection Speed

Compared with threaded connectors, the push-type design reduces the number of manual operations required during connection and disconnection. The operator inserts the male end into the matching female connection until the locking mechanism engages.

The multi-stage anti-slip structure helps maintain proper engagement during connection and unlocking. The operating method is straightforward and does not require specialized training for routine use.

Material Selection

Brass is suitable for conventional firefighting applications where mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, machinability, and connection durability need to be balanced. Aluminum alloy is preferred when reducing the weight of portable firefighting equipment is important. Stainless steel is more suitable for applications requiring higher corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.

Final material selection should consider working pressure, water or foam mixture, environmental corrosion, equipment weight, expected service conditions, and the specific material grade.

Manufacturing

Production Capability

FUXEON® operates its own fire hose connector manufacturing plant, allowing production schedules to be adjusted according to order requirements without relying on agents or distributors.

The manufacturing process supports die casting, gravity casting, and forging, allowing different materials, sizes, and structural configurations to be produced according to application requirements.

Surface Quality

The inner walls of FUXEON® fire hose connectors are processed to provide a smooth internal surface. Proper surface finishing helps reduce rough areas that may retain contaminants or create localized corrosion points.

For customized projects, FUXEON® supports OEM/ODM services for special sizes and non-standard structures according to customer drawings or technical requirements.

Quality Verification

FUXEON® fire hose connectors have been certified by China's Ministry of Emergency Management and have undergone testing covering mechanical performance, sealing performance, connection reliability, and material durability.

These verification procedures help ensure that the fire hose connector can maintain the required mechanical connection and sealing performance during firefighting use.

Applications

Firefighting Systems

The JIS Machino Coupling can connect fire hoses with compatible fire hydrants, landing valves, fire trucks, and nozzles. Its quick connection structure is suitable for firefighting systems where hoses need to be connected or replaced efficiently.

Other Uses

The coupling can also be used in agricultural irrigation, construction sites, and marine safety applications where compatible hose connections and rapid manual operation are required.

The actual application should be based on working pressure, medium, connection dimensions, material, and applicable standards.

Product Features

The adapter coupling machino uses a push-type structure in which the male component is inserted into the mating connection and locked by the internal slider. Pressing the ring on the male side releases the locking mechanism, allowing quick disconnection without rotating the coupling.

The multi-stage anti-slip structure helps maintain proper engagement during operation and provides a straightforward connection method for firefighting personnel.

Selection Guide

Size and Interface

The common nominal sizes include DN40, DN50, and DN65, while the listed product sizes include 1 1/2", 2", 2.5", and 3". Purchasers should confirm the nominal diameter, mating interface, and applicable JIS requirements before ordering to ensure compatibility with the existing hose and equipment.

Material and Pressure

The standard working pressure is 16 bar. Brass, aluminum, and stainless steel are available according to application requirements. Material selection should consider corrosion conditions, operating pressure, weight requirements, working medium, and expected service life.

FAQ

What Is a Machino Coupling?

A Machino coupling is a quick-connect hose connector commonly used in firefighting and other fluid-transfer applications. It uses a mechanical locking structure instead of relying solely on a threaded connection.

How Does It Connect?

The male end is inserted into the matching female connection, allowing the internal spring-loaded slider to engage with the slot. The rubber sealing ring then provides sealing at the joint.

How Is It Disconnected?

The ring mechanism on the male side is pressed to release the internal slider, after which the two connection components can be separated.

What Sizes Are Available?

Common nominal sizes include DN40, DN50, and DN65. The listed product range includes 1 1/2", 2", 2.5", and 3", with other sizes available on request.

What Materials Are Available?

FUXEON® provides brass, aluminum, and stainless steel options. The suitable material depends on the working environment, corrosion requirements, weight considerations, and application.

Can It Be Customized?

Yes. FUXEON® supports OEM/ODM customization for special sizes and irregular structures. Customers can provide drawings, dimensions, material requirements, or application information for evaluation.
