Maintenance:

The 1.5 inch landing valve is usually equipped with a fire hose and fire nozzle in the fire cabinet. When inspecting the hose, it should be laid out straight for inspection. Replace any hoses that are aged, damaged, or moldy immediately. Replace hoses that have reached their service life (generally 6 years) and replace aged gaskets and joint rubber rings. Apply lubricating oil to rotating parts such as valve stems and handwheels to prevent rust and jamming. If there is leakage at the valve connection, replace the aged gasket and tighten the bolts evenly. If the valve does not close tightly, clean foreign objects from inside the valve body or replace the valve.
