KPA Fire Hydran

The KPA fire hydrant is primarily cast aluminum with a threaded bottom housing that can be screwed into an underground fire hydrant. The top of the housing is bolted and equipped with two DN80 coupling valves for connecting two 80mm diameter fire hoses. Each hose can use an independent valve. For connecting smaller diameter fire hoses, two-way or three-way adapters or reducers can be used, allowing the use of smaller diameter fire hoses (DN 50 or DN65).

Connect the fire hose and then turn the switch on top to open the underground fire hydrant valve, filling the 2-way fire hydrant with water. This may take some time, during which you will hear the sound of liquid flowing. After the sound stops, turn the valve handwheel to start supplying water to the fire hose.
