The water curtain sprinkler is a key component of FUXEON®'s water curtain system equipment. It is primarily used for fireproofing and protective cooling, and is often used in conjunction with fire curtains, fire-resistant roller shutters, doors, windows, and glass curtain walls, conforming to GB 50084 standard.
Water curtain sprinklers come in single-gap and double-gap types and are fire-fighting facilities that form a water curtain barrier through dense water spray. They are primarily used to block the spread of fire, isolate heat radiation and toxic fumes, and can be used as a substitute for firewalls in areas where physical separation is not possible (such as large openings and passageways). According to fire protection methods, they can be divided into two types: fire-resistant water curtain sprinklers directly block fire and smoke using a dense water wall; and protective cooling water curtain sprinklers, which spray water directly onto the protected object (such as fire-resistant roller shutters, fire-resistant glass walls, doors, and windows) through the cooling effect of the water, using the water film formed on the object's surface to cool it down and enhance its fire resistance.

Composition and working principle of a drencher sprinkler system:
Drencher sprinklers typically form a water curtain fire suppression system together with control valves, detection systems, alarm systems, and piping systems. When a fire occurs, fire detectors (smoke detectors, heat detectors, etc.) or manual alarms trigger signals, opening control valves (such as deluge valves or solenoid valves), starting the fire pump, and rapidly supplying high-pressure water to the drencher sprinklers through the piping network. As the water flows through the sprinkler nozzles, under the action of pressurized water, dense granular water droplets are sprayed from the nozzles (such as semi-circular openings) in a predetermined direction (downward, sideways, or upward), quickly forming a continuous water curtain or water wall.
Advantages of FUXEON®'s drencher sprinkler: Precision casting with brass ensures high machining accuracy, long service life, resistance to higher water pressure and minimal deformation, and a smooth, burr-free surface. It provides stable performance and even water distribution during operation.
Locations where fire drencher systems should be installed:
1. Stage openings in first-class and second-class theaters, other theaters with more than 1,500 seats, auditoriums or halls with more than 2,000 seats, and theaters or auditoriums with more than 800 seats in high-rise civil buildings, as well as openings connecting the stage to the side stages and backstage areas in the above-mentioned venues.
2. Local openings where fire-resistant partitions such as firewalls cannot be installed.
3. The upper part of fire-resistant roller shutters or fire curtains that require protection and cooling.
Certificates:
Our water curtain sprinkler has obtained China Fire Protection Product Certification. You can check the sprinkler certificate information at www.cccf.com.cn.
FAQ:
Q: How to identify the structural features of a sprinkler?
A: Code A: Indicates a water curtain tilt angle of 0°.
Code B: Indicates a water curtain tilt angle of 90° with only one outlet.
Code C: Indicates a water curtain tilt angle of 90° with two outlets.
Code D: Indicates a water curtain tilt angle other than 0° or 90°.
Code G: Indicates a water curtain sprinkler head suitable only for fire separation. Code L: Indicates a water curtain sprinkler head suitable only for protective cooling. Code T: Indicates a general-purpose water curtain sprinkler head suitable for both fire separation and protective cooling.
Q: What is its function?
A: Without damaging the existing building structure, it can create a "water wall" for isolation in areas where physical firewalls, fire doors, or fire-resistant roller shutters cannot be installed. The densely sprayed water curtain can achieve multiple effects, including cooling, fire suppression, and smoke dilution.
Q: Can you support brand customization?
A: Of course, we can also create other text content.
Q: How should I arrange the water curtain sprinkler?
A: 1. Calculate the flow rate based on the opening width. Then, based on the sprinkler head K-value and setting the working pressure to 0.10MPa, calculate the flow rate of a single sprinkler head, thus calculating the theoretical number of sprinklers. 2. Arrange the fire sprinkler heads according to the number of sprinklers and the number of rows (single, double, or triple). 3. Perform hydraulic calculations based on the selected fire sprinkler head parameters to determine the pipe diameter, flow rate, pressure, and other parameters.
Q: How can I choose between these two water curtain sprinklers?
A: Tell us your needs, and we will give you suitable advice.
